I design the City of Merriam’s core publications—including Merriam Highlights & Recreation and the Community Visitors Guide. From layout and typography to photo selection and overall visual direction, I create clean, engaging publications that showcase the city’s programs, events, and community spirit. My work ensures each guide is visually cohesive, easy to navigate, and aligned with Merriam’s brand. Both publications have won awards from TIAK (Travel Industry Association of Kansas ) and 3CMA (City-County Communications Marketing Association).

Fall in Love with Parks
Campaign
I designed the City of Merriam’s Fall in Love with Parks campaign, creating a cohesive visual identity and messaging strategy across social media, print, and advertising. The campaign blended warm, seasonal graphics with engaging calls-to-action to highlight Merriam’s parks and encourage community exploration. From eye-catching social posts to printed materials and targeted ads, the campaign delivered a unified look and feel that captured the spirit of fall and inspired residents to get outside and enjoy their local green spaces. This campaign won awards from 3CMA (City-County Communications Marketing Association).
American Jazz Museum
25th Anniversary Sound and Story Exhibit
At Eisterhold Associates Inc., I had the unique opportunity of working on the American Jazz Museum's 25th Anniversary exhibit. They came to us with their brand standards and very little direction, so I took what they gave us and ran with it! The name of their 25th Anniversary exhibit is called "Sound and Story", so I decided to use a storybook motif, along with objects that create sound (tapes, records, and instruments) for each pillar of information they wanted to share with the public. Jackson County COMBAT
Brand Design and Social Media
The Jackson County COMBAT brand has had many different looks throughout the years. They decided they needed a new look that represented community, prevention, treatment and justice. My team at Tico Productions and I decided to create one brand with 4 sub-brands for each pillar of COMBAT. I took this framework and designed a brand that is softer and more approachable for the community. Below is the new brand social media posts I helped cultivate and create.

Hogan Preparatory Academy was in need of a marketing strategy for their new brand, so we took their logos and branding and created videos, billboards, social media posts, print materials, and digital marketing. Below are the billboard, posters, photography, video and graphic examples.

Rx Education Branding & Social Media Campaign
The Rx Education logo was a Tico Productions collaboration to combine all design ideas into the logo below. I proceeded to take this logo and create multiple branded social media posts and videos.

-KPRS Hot 103.3 Jamz averaged about 2,688,000 impressions over the two month campaign
-@JacksonCoCombat Twitter had over 60,000 impressions and 934 profile visits
-Due to Facebook’s special advertising policies regarding Medical Marijuana, Tico was not able to run targeted digital advertising on this platform, regardless of disputing the claim as “educational”. Though, organic posting garnered over 1,000 unique impressions, with video content outperforming any other post.
